update

Well after 3.5 years in London I retuned to Adelaide via Malaysia on Monday. What a change it has been, I think I have gotten used to all of the different time zones I have been in the last week!

I have now updated my contact details in the contact section with my new mobile number, although my email address will still be the same.

I am currently looking for both freelance and or permanent graphic design work here in Adelaide so if anyone hears of or needs anything done please get in touch.

I have now updated the profile section with a new profile as well as new resumé with all of my current contact details.

Photo of the Week!

Phoughed Fields

Checked my email this morning and got a very nice surprise when reading the Calumet Photographic e-newsletter, at the bottom in the ‘Photo of the week’ section was an image I thought looked familiar, upon a second look I realised that they had selected my image of ‘Ploughed Fields’ taken in Lincolnshire a few weeks ago as their photo of the week! It’s also right there at the bottom of their website as well. Very nice surprise! Thank you Calumet.

update

Just a quick update to let people know I have added a few new pieces to the Design Archive and Photos of an Everyday Life. There are a couple of new logos and website designs in the archive and some new photos in the Everyday Life gallery to check out.

Also it is only 28 more days until I leave London and just over a month until I arrive back in Adelaide, Australia. If anyone knows of any jobs, preferably permanent or freelance graphic design then please contact me and let me know!

Kid Id Live at the my-um.com Launch

kid-id_my-um_launch15-06-09-34.jpg

I’ve been getting a little bit of photographic work lately which has lead to some well needed £’s which in turn has tempted me to buy a couple of new sexy lenses for my camera which has been nice. I got to put them through their paces at the Launch night of my-um.com to take some photos of Kid Id which was ace. I am really happy with how they handle the low-light and the results the produce! To see the rest of the photos from of Kid-Id from the my-um.com launch follow the ‘read more’ link or click here. To view previous photos of Kid Id I have taken check out the Photograph Archive.

Also worth checking out is my-um.com which seems rather exciting for music lovers, musicians and promoters, in their own words it is “[a] brand new world for music lovers, makers and industry heads alike. Bands - MY-UM offers you a platform to promote and release your music, earn money, and get expert advice”

As always I highly reccomend getting down to a Kid Id gig, they are lots of fun and their new stuff is ace! Check them out!

spring time - birthday card illustration for Michal

Well It’s finally spring time, well it kind has been feeling like it lately. The nights are getting longer the grass is growing again and the birds wake meup every morning at 4am.

Over the May bank holiday my housemate and I decided to do some gardening, which he recorded with his camera and tilt shift lens set to take photos on 7 second intervals. Put together this makes an awesome fun little time-lapse video! Check out the video here. Whilst there check out Paolo’s awesome photography too!
